Hi! 👋 My name is Sam and my partner Ethan and I have embarked on a venture close to our hearts, founding Houndd Co, a dog brand inspired by our four rescue greyhounds — Peach, Bear, Luna and Bingo.
For over a year, I had been considering the idea of starting a dog brand. However, it wasn't until I lost my job in June 2024 after working in the fashion industry for 12 years that I finally took the plunge and brought Houndd Co to life. By merging my passions for design, fashion, home interiors, and above all, greyhounds, I aim to create products that both you and your dogs will love.
We have a silly little corner of the internet over at our Instagram @peachbearlunabingo, which has grown into a tight-knit community of fellow greyhound and dog lovers from around the world. While this wasn't something we initially expected, we're thrilled to have this platform and are committed to using it for good. Our main goal is to support greyhound rescue efforts and charities.
Since launching Houndd Co. in 2024, we’ve donated over $3300, along with product and voucher contributions, to support greyhound rescue organisations across Australia. Giving back is deeply important to us, and we’re dedicated to continuing this work as our brand grows.
We have great plans and exciting products in the pipeline for Houndd Co which we’re so excited to share with you. Follow us on social media @hounddco and @peachbearlunabingo to follow our journey ❤️

Our Fosters 🥰
Through Love A Greyhound Inc. we fostered Deeks, Zoe, Dolly & Luna (eventual foster fail 🤪). Peach and Bear were settled in and we figured we had time and space for another long boy or girl in our home. Fostering opened our eyes to the remarkable dedication of these volunteers and the financial strain that caring for the constant stream of rescue greyhounds places on charities.
Deeks: July-September 2022
Deeks was our first foster in July 2022. He was a sweet old boy who needing rehoming due to no fault of his own. Once he was in our care we realised he was having trouble walking which ended up with him needing corn removal surgery. Love A Greyhound did not even hesitate to organise and cover the cost for this surgery and after a couple weeks he was running around with Peach & Bear like a puppy. He eventually got adopted by a lovely retired couple after 2 months with us.
Zoe: December-January 2022
Next we had the bouncy and beautiful Zoe in December 2022. She was snapped up in a few short weeks and now lives her best life in Brisbane with her big brother Bear 🐻
Dolly: January-July 2023
At the end of January 2023, Jo from Love A Greyhound reached out to us asking if we were willing to look after a special case foster for a prolonged period of time. They had rescued a greyhound by the name of Dolly who had tested positive for heart worm. The treatment was going to take 4 months and included consistent medicating and monitoring. Love A Greyhound again covered all treatment costs. Dolly made a full recovery after a tough few months of heart worm treatment and in July she was adopted, she's also in Brisbane living with her bestie Cora 🐶
Luna: July 2023-Forever
A couple of weeks after Dolly left, we welcomed a new foster named Luna. We thought she’d be a quick, in-and-out foster before Christmas… but she had different plans 😂 After 7 months with us and still no adoption interest, it felt obvious she was meant to stay. So we made it official, and Lunatic became part of the family.
Bingo: November 2024-Forever
In November 2024 we welcomed Bingo into our home, and she was a very different foster experience to our previous hounds. Bing Bong came to us incredibly shut down and fearful, especially of Ethan and men in general. It took months of patience, gentle exposure, and letting her move at her own pace before we started to see her cheeky little personality peek through.
Along the way there was a failed adoption, which broke our hearts a bit but ended up being a blessing in disguise because it became clear Bingo wasn’t ready to leave the safe little world she’d built here. Over time she bonded deeply with Peach, Bear, and Luna… and eventually with us too.
Somewhere between the tiny tail wags, the slow trust-building, and her first brave zoomies, we realised she was already home. So Bingo became another foster fail, officially joining our family forever.
